Resources
There may be times when you want to know what a Unitarian Universalist approach to life in general or to a life event may be.
You can browse the links under Resources to get selected sermons, ideas for weddings and unions, child namings and dedications, and memorial services. If you have more questions, we invite you to ask the ministers.
About the "Liberal Religious Hour"
UUCC produces a weekly TV show and archives the Liberal Religious Hour podcasts so that you have options for getting locally-produced content. You can always find a link to the podcast on this page, along with selected sermons from the archives.
About Child Dedication Services
A Unitarian Universalist child dedication service or naming ceremony is not a baptism. It does welcome a child into our community and pledges loving support for the child. Some sample service material is on the Child Dedication page.
About Wedding and Union Services
Our ministers work with couples who are interested in our form of religious wedding celebration, regardless of their religious affiliations. Many interfaith couples find that a Unitarian Universalist wedding is compatible with acknowledging individual religious backgrounds and the couple's commitment to one another.
Our ministers officiate at services of union for GLBT couples.
About Memorial Services
Unitarian Universalist memorial services celebrate the life of the individual in all its fullness. We encourage family and friends to participate. Every memorial service is unique, but we offer some ideas on the Memorial Service page.
